Leticia "Lettie" Bostic (Mary Alice) enrolled at Hillman College, dropped out of Hillman a few credits short of her degree, moved to Paris, met Pablo Picasso, spied for the Allies during World War II, rejected marriage proposal from South African freedom fighter Marcus Mpepo, replaced Stevie Rallen as dorm director of Gilbert Hall. While director she presumably did her job well, often helping students with personal issues. When student Kim Reese engages in unprotected sex that led to a pregnancy scare, Lettie shouts in anger but immediately apologizes. After season 2 ends, Lettie disappears completely with no explanation, but the dissolution of her job could act as an answer to this.
